POI # 6. Harford Springs County Park Reserve
The 325-acre Harford Springs County Park Reserve is a popular destination for horseback riding and hiking, and has limited parking spaces. Gavilan and Piedras roads provide access from the east and west. The trailhead is located about 750 feet north of Piedras Road. The Harford Springs Reserve is accessible by car. It is open to the public, but some parking is available on the side streets of the park. The park is located at 17244 Cajon Dr, Perris, CA 92570 in Riverside County.
The park is home to many wildflowers in bloom. Some areas have a wide variety of flowers in bloom. We were lucky to visit at the beginning of May, and the yellow, purple and blue were in full bloom. The photos do not do the park justice. Regardless of the season, the flowers will be spectacular. In the spring, you will be rewarded with a colorful display of wildflowers, a sight not to be missed!

The best feature of this park, aside from the springtime weather, is its wildflowers. In some parts, you’ll find a variety of flowers. I was surprised to see a wide variety of colors, from blues to purples and yellows. I’ve tried to capture these beautiful blooms in photos, but they don’t do the flowers justice. A good view of these beauties will help you appreciate the beauty of the area.
Located near Lake Mathews, the Harford Springs Reserve is an incredible 325-acre park. This area is 2,000 feet above sea level and supports abundant wildlife. The park is also a wonderful place to see wildflowers in spring. It’s a great place to picnic and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The three-quarter-mile-long nature trail will take you to the spring’s most beautiful views.
